Hi Marie  as always it's a thrill to get pics of your ferrets. He or She is just so gorgeous
and healthy looking. Hope to see more thru winter.

Hi Darlene, I'm planning to be out with the camera a lot more this winter :). I would love to get a shot of several ferrets looking out at the same time from different openings in the hill. There were four of them digging inside the burrows this time but only Disa (a jill) had the time to pose for the camera :)

I guess there's no point posting more pics since this forum appears to be inactive now, but I'll post a link ;)
As promised, more snowy pics:

I will certainly be visiting your site regularly.
You have the most natural looking, healthy ferrets I have ever seen, proper ferret coloration.
It is becoming more difficult to find properly bred ferrets, untainted by modern fancy tastes in the UK.
I may too old now to have more ferrets after my present two are gone, as any more may outlive me and as I live alone I don't wish to see them suffer after I have gone.

You have done a remarkable job, best wishes for the future

Thank you so much, Tony and Darlene!

Tony, how are Sugar and Suki doing now?

I think the fancy ferrets are increasingly dominating the ferret populations all over the world, and due to imports they also tend to have an increasingly common heritage. Hopefully at least some breeders will be interested in keeping some of the old original stock so it's not completely lost.

Sugar and Suki are both very well with no adrenal symptoms at all.
Sugar is at 19 mths since first implant (2nd. at 12 mths) and Suki at 7 mths.
They are both as active as they have ever been and Suki is a real trouble maker, if there is mischief to be done she will be first there.
